VERY SAD NEWS: 25 Minutes Ago in West Monroe, Louisiana — Sadie Robertson, Granddaughter of Duck Dynasty’s Miss Kay, Tearfully Announced Urgent News to Her Followers That Her Grandmother’s Health Is Currently…

“Duck Dynasty” Star Miss Kay Attends Church Amid Ongoing Health Struggles

Beloved Duck Dynasty matriarch Miss Kay Robertson is facing some of the toughest days of her life. Still grieving the recent loss of her husband Phil Robertson, she continues to battle ongoing health challenges of her own—but a recent moment of hope has uplifted fans everywhere.

Health Concerns and Heartbreak

Miss Kay has been struggling with her health for several months. Earlier this year, both she and Phil were forced to leave their cherished Louisiana home due to serious medical concerns. Phil had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and a blood disorder, while Kay suffered a serious fall that led to a dangerous infection.

The fall left Kay hospitalized, and she later entered a rehab facility for recovery. During this time, the couple was separated—a difficult stretch after more than six decades of marriage. While they were eventually reunited, both of their health conditions continued to decline.

In mid-May, son Willie Robertson revealed that Kay had begun to show symptoms similar to Phil’s, including possible signs of Alzheimer’s or dementia.

Saying Goodbye to Phil

Phil Robertson passed away on May 25 at the age of 79. The family held a private funeral on May 29, later sharing the full service with fans through a touching video tribute.

His death shook the entire Robertson family—but especially Kay.

“Kay is not in the best of health,” Willie shared in a recent interview.
“Some of it is she is just depressed. She lost her partner of 60 years.”

A Bit of Good News: Miss Kay Attends Church

While Miss Kay hasn’t been able to attend many family events recently, she made a brief and heartwarming appearance in the premiere of Duck Dynasty: The Revival, which aired on June 1. Unfortunately, her health kept her from attending the premiere celebration—but just days later, she had a moment of triumph.

Lisa Robertson, wife of Kay’s son Al, shared an uplifting update: Miss Kay was able to attend a Sunday church service. Along with the news, Lisa posted a smiling photo of Kay, dressed up and surrounded by love.

“The beautiful Ms. Kay! She was able to attend church today!” Lisa wrote.

Fans React with Love and Support

The update brought a flood of joy and prayers from fans, who have followed Kay’s journey for years:

    • “Bless her precious heart. I know she misses Phil. So glad she was able to attend church today.”

    • “We love you, Miss Kay. We are thinking and praying for you all during this difficult time.”

    • “She’s been on my heart a lot. I’ve been praying for her every day.”

    • “God bless! Continued prayers for Miss Kay and the whole Robertson family.”

While the Robertson family faces a difficult season, moments like this remind everyone of the strength, love, and faith that have always defined them. Fans everywhere continue to lift up Miss Kay, praying for healing, comfort, and peace.

She may be walking through sorrow, but she’s not walking alone.

THE DAY THE KING WAS GONE — Imagine waking up on August 16 and discovering that the voice that had defined an entire generation was suddenly silent. On August 16, 1977, Elvis Presley died at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, leaving millions of fans struggling to believe that the man they had watched, admired, and followed for more than two decades was gone. Elvis had transformed American music in a way few artists ever could. From the explosive energy of the 1950s to the dazzling Las Vegas performances of the 1970s, he became more than a singer. He became a cultural symbol. His voice, his stage presence, his clothing, and even the way he moved changed popular entertainment forever. Yet behind the legendary image was a deeply human man whose final years were far more complicated than the spotlight suggested. On that Tuesday afternoon, the news spread across the world with astonishing speed. Radio stations interrupted regular programming. Newspapers rushed to prepare special editions. Fans gathered outside Graceland, many of them in tears, unable to accept that Elvis was truly gone. People who had grown up listening to his records suddenly found themselves mourning someone who had felt almost larger than life. The sadness became even more powerful because Elvis died at only 42 years old. There was no long farewell tour and no final performance designed to close the story. There was simply an ordinary summer day that suddenly became one of the most unforgettable dates in music history. Thousands of mourners eventually traveled to Memphis. Flowers covered the gates of Graceland. Strangers who had never met Elvis stood beside one another, united by the same memories. Some remembered the young man who had shocked television audiences in the 1950s. Others remembered romantic ballads, movie songs, gospel performances, or the commanding presence of the man known as The King of Rock and Roll. Even decades later, August 16 remains a day of remembrance for Elvis Presley fans around the world. His death ended his life, but it did not end his music. His recordings continued to reach new generations, his performances remained endlessly watched, and Graceland became a place where fans could come to remember the man behind the legend. Perhaps that is the strangest part of Elvis’ story. On August 16, 1977, the world lost Elvis Presley. But somehow, the music never learned how to say goodbye.
